Former Los Angeles Lakers big man Pau Gasol continues to play the role of uncle with Kobe Bryant's family.

Gasol posted a beautiful picture on Twitter of his wife, Bryant's wife and kids on a boat with a heartwarming caption:

Kobe Bryant is surely smiling down on Pau Gasol and his family. The Black Mamba would be grateful to Gasol for taking care of his family during this time.

Gasol and his wife are expecting a kid soon as well.

In 2009 and 2010, Bryant and Gasol led the Lakers to back-to-back championships. Los Angeles defeated Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic in the 2009 Finals. The 2010 Finals went to seven games, with the Lakers coming out on top over the Boston Celtics, who were led by Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo and head coach Doc Rivers.

It was revenge for the Lakers, as Bryant and Co. lost to the Celtics in the 2008 Finals.

Bryant has both of his numbers (8, 24) retired by the Lakers. Some fans of the team believe Pau Gasol's No. 16 should be retired next by the team. The future Hall of Famer appeared in 429 games with the Lakers and averaged 17.7 points and 9.9 rebounds. Bryant was excellent, but the Lakers don't win the title in 2009 and 2010 without Gasol.
