It has been nearly three weeks since the tragic helicopter crash that took the lives of Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna, but the pain continues to resonate all around the world.

The grief continues to engulf Vanessa Bryant, who lost both a loving husband and a doting daughter in one tragic day. The 37-year-old widow recently admitted that she continues to struggle with the reality of their unexpected passing.

In a gut-wrenching post on her Instagram page, Vanessa bared the difficulties of coping with the tragedy but acknowledged that she has to keep it together for her three other daughters — Natalia,  Bianka and Capri.

“My brain refuses to accept that both Kobe and Gigi are gone. I can’t process both at the same time. It’s like I’m trying to process Kobe being gone but my body refuses to accept my Gigi will never come back to me,” she wrote.

Kobe Bryant, who passed away at 41 years old, had one of the best basketball careers of all time with the Lakers. Even in retirement, he continued to be an inspiration to generations of players. The Black Mamba had so much to give to world even after his basketball career was over.

Gigi, meanwhile, was just beginning to scratch the surface of her undeniable talent on the hardwood. The 13-year-old has been thrust to the spotlight before her shocking passing. Mambacita has developed into a high school phenom, even draining fade away jumpers that eerily looked similar to that of his old man.

It was apparent that Gianna carried the same love for the game as much as his father did.

Vanessa Bryant, meanwhile, has since set her Instagram to public once more and has been sharing photos and videos commemorating the life of Kobe and Gigi.
