The Bryant family is still grieving the loss of a father and husband as well as a daughter and sister. Vanessa Bryant took to Instagram to clarify she and her eldest daughter, Natalia, have had to block some fan accounts posting tributes and images to Kobe Bryant and Gianna, both of whom died in a helicopter crash in January.

Bryant explained, “it's been really hard to go online and constantly see pics of our beloved Gigi and Kobe under every single square of our explore pages.” She also added blocking these pages has helped to reconfigure Instagram's algorithm.

Vanessa Bryant professed her gratitude but understandably said blocking the pages was critical as the family heals.

The death of Kobe and Gianna Bryant rocked the globe back in January. Kobe Bryant was just entering his post-retirement career as an author and fierce advocate for women's sports, while Gianna was beginning to establish her own legacy on the hardwood.

Memorials to the father-daughter duo lined the streets of Los Angeles in the days after the crash, including a massive series of tributes in front of the Staples Center.

The father-daughter duo were fondly remembered by colleagues and friends on February 24, a day that featured moving speeches by the likes of Michael Jordan, Sabrina Ionescu and, of course, Vanessa herself.

Images soon flooded Instagram upon news of the crash. Some accounts dedicated entire pages to artwork and photographs of Kobe and Gianna.

Vanessa, Natalia, Capri and Bianka most certainly deserve all the time and space necessary to heal, though they clearly do appreciate the outpouring of affection that has been shown to their family.
