Los Angeles Lakers veteran guard Avery Bradley says he and his teammates are checking in with each other just to make sure everybody is staying in basketball mode.

Despite not being able to play the game or practice with each other, Bradley says the Lakers roster is committed to staying in championship mode in case the season resumes in the summer:

Bradley and the Lakers had the top record in the Western Conference standings prior to play getting suspended. The Purple and Gold were one of the favorites to win the title, so you can understand why L.A. fans are upset the hiatus happened when it did.

In his first season with the Lakers, Bradley is averaging 8.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 49 games. The 29-year-old is shooting 44.4 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Players around the league are trying to find private gyms where they can work out at. The Lakers and every team in the NBA closed down their practice facilities.

Bradley and the Lakers can do home workouts, but unless a player has a court at their house, it's going to be difficult for players to get shots up.

The Lakers went 49-14 before the season was suspended. They had a 5.5 game lead over the Los Angeles Clippers in the West standings.
