LeBron James may not be in the thick of NBA postseason action any longer, but he's still in the midst of a huge basketball event of his own. The Los Angeles Lakers star has been on a full-court press for his latest movie – Space Jam 2.
Among the high-profile names tied to the project is Hollywood sweetheart Zendaya. The Spiderman actress voices Lola Bunny in the movie and clearly developed a solid working relationship with the Lakers star. King James reacted to a photo of the two together, putting up a rather sweet caption along with it.
“They lying to y’all if you think they can’t! But In this pic I only see one and that’s my lil sis @Zendaya,” said the Lakers icon on his young co-star.

It didn't take long before Zendaya reacted to LeBron James' humbling message. The actress sent out a 5-word reply to the Lakers star.

It's definitely an odd sight to see LeBron James going full Hollywood mode amid the NBA Finals going on. But just like Michael Jordan, King James' appearance on the Space Jam franchise might be a lasting piece of his legacy once he hangs it up. The fact that he could give his full attention to the premiere of his movie has become the small silver lining in the Lakers' early playoff elimination. But you better believe LeBron doesn't plan on doing the same next season.
