The Los Angeles Lakers have brought back forward Metta World Peace, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

The deal is reportedly the same as last year's: one year, non-guaranteed

While World Peace's impact on the court is merely minimal, his experience and veteran approach to the game will bring a much-needed presence to a young Lakers core that features the likes of D'Angelo Russell, Brandon Ingram, Ivica Zubac and Julius Randle.

While the Queensbridge native's past antics don't speak in the best ways for him, his work ethic has never been in question and is something he can instill into this younger generation.

The 36-year-old Metta World Peace last averaged five points with 2.5 rebounds in 16.9 minutes per game last season.
