As the offseason begins, more analysts are weighing in on the LeBron James free agency drama. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN makes a strong case for James moving to the Los Angeles Lakers.

As reported by ESPN Los Angeles, Woj said that James fits perfectly to the Lakers as the team will only have to move a few pieces to accommodate him:

“I just think the Lakers are the clearest…simplest path because they have the space to sign him…and they have the availability in L.A. to create a second max slot without having to do much.”

James — touted as the greatest player of his generation — is due some $35.6 million next season. The Lakers are one of the teams which have sufficient cap room. As per NBA.com, the Lakers as of now have a cap space of $62 million. The Philadelphia 76ers come in next with $31 million, the Houston Rockets have $22 million.

Woj is coming from a contract standpoint. Given the financial status of the Lakers, it does seem a perfect fit for James who's eyeing to win more championships before he can hang up his jersey for good.

But from a chemistry point of view, does he fit as well? The Lakers finished with a decent 35-47 win-loss record last season. What's impressive about their record is that they have one of the youngest teams in the NBA — which can both be a boon and a bane.

James is slated to make his decision soon. Will Woj's words prove prophetic?
