Kanye West and Drake have both made headlines of late for the highly anticipated drops of their latest album Donda and Certified Lover Boy. Drake reportedly leaked one of Kanye's unreleased tracks, which featured a not so savory diss targeting Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

A Kanye song entitled Life of the Party featuring Andre 3000 was cut from the final track list, but Drake had reportedly leaked it.

According to the Rolling Stone, the Toronto-based rapper played the song in full on his Sound 42 guest mix and quickly made the rounds on social media. While the entire song went many different directions, one line in particular felt like a direct shot against the Lakers star.

Where my motherfuckin' red hat?
Security and the nannies be forever handling
I can’t stand it when there's talks about putting the kids back in Sierra Canyon when daddy got his own school

The line was assumed by many to be referencing LeBron James and his son Bronny. The Lakers star famously put up the I Promise school in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. Kanye called out the fact that his own children don't even go to his school, with Bronny instead attending the much more prominent private school in Sierra Canyon.

Fans were quick to comment on social media:

This wasn't the first time that Kanye West was rumored to be taking shots at LeBron James. The Lakers star was mentioned in his 2016 track that dissed Nike called Facts. West, however, denied that it was anything negative directed at James himself.

“Nike, Nike treat employees just like slaves // Gave LeBron a billi' not to run away.”

It remains to be seen if LeBron James has listened to the track or not. He might still be too busy thinking about the Lakers season or having fun with Diddy in Italy. Either way, it's been an interesting week in music thus far.
