Things got tense in the Los Angeles Lakers' locker room on Saturday night after it was reported that a few of the Lakers veterans, led by Michael Beasley and JaVale McGee, got into a shouting match with head coach Luke Walton following their 115-101 loss against the Golden State Warriors.

While most would view this as negative news, ESPN's Ramona Shelburne reports that what happened last night was “typical locker room stuff” and isn't a huge deal:

The Lakers gave a valiant effort throughout the game until the champs took over in the fourth quarter. After the game, Walton criticized the veterans for their selfish play. According to ESPN's Dave McMenamin, Beasley and McGee reportedly responded by expressing their frustration Walton's inconsistent rotations this season.

To be fair, the Lakers are in Hollywood, and this type of drama is never really new to the franchise. Nonetheless, things are getting a little out of hand over in Southern California.

Many players have been in and out of the lineup, trade rumors are popping up left and right, and the Lakers can't seem to decide whether Luke Walton is the right guy to patrol the sidelines and call the shots.

The last one has been a season-long question for Los Angeles. There have been rumors floating that some people within the Lakers don't think that Walton should be the coach. Moreover, president Magic Johnson called out Walton for the struggles earlier in the season. Now, this report that the veterans are upset with Walton's rotations and coaching decisions may raise that question once again.

The Lakers have once again found themselves in shambles, and this report only brings more drama into their camp. Will LeBron's return help calm things down for the purple and gold?
