After suffering a knee injury against the Dallas Mavericks on Jan. 13, Lonzo Ball has missed the last 11 games for the Los Angeles Lakers. Unlike his previous injury where the Lakers were unable to win a single game, they are currently 7-4 during this latest stretch.
As it is unclear when Ball will return to the team's starting lineup, there is good news off the court. According to TMZ Sports, Ball and his longtime girlfriend, Denise Garcia, are reportedly expecting their first child together:

In addition, Garcia is reportedly four months pregnant according to TMZ Sports:
We're told Denise is 4 months pregnant. We're told the baby is very healthy. No word on whether it's a boy or a girl … but we're guessing LaVar is hoping for a hooper to continue the BBB legacy.
As Ball and his family celebrate the news off the court, the Lakers are playing their best basketball of the 2017-18 NBA season. Since head coach Luke Walton inserted Josh Hart into the starting lineup for Tyler Ennis and moved Brandon Ingram to point guard, Los Angeles is currently on a three-game winning streak. In addition, since Jan. 7, the Lakers have the second-best record in the league.
With the trade deadline quickly approaching, it will be interesting to see if President of Basketball Operations Magic Johnson and general manager Rob Pelinka make any moves.
