Clint Capela is one of the best names on the free agent market this summer. The restricted free agent is set to meet with the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday afternoon per TNT's David Aldridge. The Rockets still have the right to match any offer sheet signed by Capela.

Capela is coming off a breakout season where he was a finalist for the Most Improved Player. Although Victor Oladipo ended up bringing home the award, the improvement in Capela's game should not be overlooked.

Capela averaged 13.9 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game for the Rockets this season. He was a crucial element of the Rockets and was instrumental in helping Houston nearly knock off the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals.

Capela thrived in pick-and-roll situations with James Harden and Chris Paul. The two ballhandlers developed sensational chemistry with Capela, who routinely found himself getting the ball in dangerous positions. His 65 percent shooting from the floor led the league this season. Many of his shots came from lobs and putbacks. He also averaged more than three offensive rebounds per game.

Houston's offense is predicated on floor spacing and outside shooting, but Capela's presence inside draws defenders away from shooters. This allows Harden and Paul the space to create on the outside.

The Rockets can match any offer given to Capela — and they likely will. He's developed into a dynamic big man that protects the rim on defense and causes havoc with his rim running on offense. The 24-year-old continues to improve his game and he'll cash in on that this summer.
