The Los Angeles Lakers will reportedly wear their classic blue uniforms next season, per Chris Creamer of sportslogos.net.

Here's a mockup of what they could look like in action:

This is likely celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Lakers' relocation from Minneapolis to Los Angeles. It will be interesting to see if LeBron James actually wears No. 6 or No. 23 next season. He tried to offer up No. 23 to Anthony Davis for this season, but it was shut down by Nike.

James, Davis and the Lakers will face the Heat in the 2020 NBA Finals at Walt Disney World. LeBron is looking for title No. 4, while Davis is searching for that elusive first NBA ring.

Behind James and Davis, the Lakers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers, Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets in five games each to get to the Finals. Both the Lakers and Heat are 12-3 thus far in the playoffs, so the Finals should be very competitive.

There's also the storyline of James going up against Heat president Pat Riley, who supposedly told LeBron he was making the biggest mistake of his career when The King left the Heat in 2014 to go back to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

While the Lakers will be favored to defeat the Heat since they have the two best players in the series in James and Davis, fans can't count out Jimmy Butler and the Heat since the South Beach franchise has been quieting naysayers left and right this season.
