Vanessa Bryant's quest for justice for the deaths of her husband, Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, and daughter Gianna continues. Now, she is reportedly seeking “hundreds of millions of dollars” against the Island Express Helicopters Inc.

The helicopter company is tied up with Ara Zobayan, the pilot on board when Bryant's chopper tragically crashed and burned in Calabasas, California last January.

Per the lawsuit's stipulations obtained by The Blast, the plaintiff is suing the company for negligence resulting to nine deaths. It also cites the company's alleged failure to check weather conditions before the flight and the pilot's recklessness about flying into foggy conditions.

“As a result of Kobe Bryant's and GB's deaths, Vanessa Bryant seeks economic damages, non-economic damages, prejudgment interest, punitive damages, and other relief as the Court deems just and proper,” Vanessa's lawyers said during the court hearings.

The exact amount of the lawsuit remains uncertain, but the filings also indicate that “Kobe Bryant's future lost earnings equal hundreds of millions of dollars.”

The late Lakers great has famously taken helicopter rides even during his playing days to avoid the dreaded California traffic. He was supposed to take Gianna, as well as some of their teammates and their parents, to the Mamba Sports Academy before tragedy struck.

Vanessa, meanwhile, filed suit the wrongful death suit back in February. Kobe is survived by his wife and three other daughters, Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.

Apart from holding the Island Express Helicopters Inc. accountable, Vannessa also filed a lawsuit against the L.A. County sheriff last May for the unauthorized sharing of the crash site photos of the Lakers icon and the other victims.
