It has just been reported that we will all be given the opportunity to see some new LeBron James material in the very near future. While it won't be on the basketball court, we will still be able to get a glimpse of the Los Angeles Lakers superstar in the upcoming “I PROMISE” documentary series that is set to debut on Monday.

The 15-episode series is going to be available via Quibi, a streaming platform that is exclusive for mobile devices. According to Mark Medina of USA Today, the show will center around how the Lakers forward, the faculty, and the students have fared since they opened the “I Promise School” in Akron, Ohio back in 2018.

In the documentary, LeBron is shown explaining how they're taking the necessary steps to ensure that they are able to do everything the right way.

“It’s not instant oatmeal that we’re creating here,” James said in the documentary. “You can’t just put the oatmeal pack in the bowl and putting it in the microwave and we’re ready to go. We’re good with dealing with the process.”

James also shared his motivation behind this amazing project, stating that he draws inspiration from underprivileged kids who continue to try and pursue their dreams despite their circumstances.

“It almost seems like when you grow up in the inner city or the projects, no one cares about you,” James said in the documentary. “So many kids like myself have dreams. The only thing to stop those dreams from becoming a reality is the support around them. For me to be able to use my platform or use my resources, I was passionate about having our kids and hometown living under one roof.”

This documentary should be able showcase another side of LeBron, as it focuses on his philanthropy and passion to give back.
