Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis is already bringing his A-game even in the preseason. The Brow led a valiant Laker comeback against the Phoenix Suns in their final exhibition match against the Phoenix Suns on Friday. The reigning champs practically played catch-up for the first 42 minutes of the game against the Suns at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.

While most superstar players would take it easy and just go with the motions, AD went to work after the halftime buzzer. Davis did not mess around in the third period, as he scored 19 of the Lakers' 35 points in that quarter. He capped off that amazing one-man show with this buzzer-beating trey, to trim the Suns' lead to just one. Suns rookie Jalen Smith, who defended AD in that possession, just dropped his hands in disgust after the magnificent play.

By now, the Lakers are used to witnessing Anthony Davis' heroics following that spectacular first season he had in Hollywood last year. The 7-time All-Star was a big reason why the Purple and Gold managed to raise banner number 17 last season at the expense of the Miami Heat inside the bubble. In fact, Davis drilled a similar game-winning triple against the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals.

The Lakers will play on opening night against rivals Los Angeles Clippers. Judging by the extended minutes that AD has logged in so far in this preseason match, looks like he wants him to get some reps up before their quest for a repeat officially begins.
