The Los Angeles Lakers are trying to extend their winning streak to 11 with a win against the Dallas Mavericks at Staples Center, and Anthony Davis is doing everything he can to make sure that Purple and Gold emerges victorious.

AD continues to be dominant on both ends of the floor, especially over the past 10 games. Against the Mavs, he got off to a pretty good start which was capped off by this alley-oop slam off a dish from LeBron James.

The Lakers defeated the Mavs in an overtime thriller exactly a month ago despite trailing by as much as 15 points during that game. They are looking to go up 2-0 against Dallas this season.

Over the past couple of years, the Lakers have won six straight games and seven of the last eight against the Mavs. Prior to that, Dallas beat LA for 14 straight games.

Both teams are in the top five in the Western Conference.
