Training camp may be around the corner, but Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James isn't forgetting his role as a father.

LeBron's oldest son, Bronny James, has officially played his first game for Sierra Canyon, and during the course of it, he was constantly getting advice from his father.

Despite LeBron's busy schedule — from his preparations for the upcoming 2019-20 NBA season to his commitments off the court — he still finds time to watch Bronny's games and be the best stage father he could ever be. The Lakers forward grew up without his dad, so he is making sure that his kids don't experience the same thing growing up.

Bronny is expected to be one of the best players for Sierra Canyon alongside Zaire Wade, son of Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade. They will be the next batch of Sierra Canyon prospects who have NBA stars as their fathers, following Scottie Pippen Jr. and Kenyon Martin Jr., who recently graduated from the school.

Aside from being a supportive father, LeBron also wants to watch Bronny grow into a well-molded professional basketball player — perhaps in hopes of playing with his son in the NBA someday.

This wouldn't be the last time you'll see LeBron trying to coach his son. He's done it in the past, and he will continue to do so as long as he can because he understands the pressure that awaits Bronny in the big league. James wants to make sure that his kid is ready for it.
