The Los Angeles Lakers cruised to a convincing victory over the Utah Jazz. They may be overdoing it a bit to make up for their horrible loss to the Dallas Mavericks, but fans can just take it as another day at the office.

One of the solid contributors for the Purple and Gold so far is Dwight Howard. The big man had another solid performance from the bench, but the biggest highlight involving him didn't involve a monstrous block or a powerful slam.

Dwight made a 3-point shot, which is just the seventh of his career.

Howard is still having one of the best career revivals in the NBA right now, and this shot will only make him a more viable option for the Lakers moving forward. His release was quick, and his shooting form was confident. It was obvious from the way he took the shot that he was sure his shot would go ijn.

Howard — who finished with seven points, nine rebounds and one assist — definitely surprised the fans at the Vivint Smart Home Arena. DeMarcus Cousins' reaction from the bench said all that was needed to be said about the shot.
