NBA free-agent Iman Shumpert recently shared an interesting story he had about the late All-Time great Kobe Bryant. The 29-year-old swingman shared how the Los Angeles Lakers legend once torched his defense in the fourth quarter, back when he was still playing for the New York Knicks.

Some fans were quick to question the accuracy of Shump's tale, prompting Iman to share his proof on Twitter on Friday.

“Lemme know when I tell y’all a lie,” he captioned a clip of the game Lakers-Knicks game at Madison Square Garden Arena.

The highlight clip did, in fact, showed the Lakers legend going ballistic in the game's final 12 minutes at the expense of Shumpert's defense. It even showed the amazing sequence where a double-teamed Bryant threw the ball off the backboard, collected the ball himself before dishing it to Pau Gasol for the open jumper.

“Bro what you on? You've been regular all day!” Shump hilariously recalled himself thinking after Bryant's move.

Iman Shumpert, meanwhile, was among the many players who were left devastated by Bryant's shocking passing last January. He was quoted as saying that he didn't realize how much he loved Kobe after his tragic demise.
