Los Angeles Lakers center JaVale McGee looked like JaVale McThree on Sunday against the Denver Nuggets, as he drained his first triple of the season.

Often seen camping near the lane catching lobs and put back dunks, McGee decided to test his range by pulling up from the top of the key against the unsuspecting Nuggets D.

With Nikola Jokic backing off from him, the 7'0″ center displayed a good follow through with his shot and hit nothing but nylon. He finished with seven points and five rebounds in 18 minutes.

Without LeBron James who was out for the first time this season due to a muscle strain, the Lakers lost their straight game, 104-28. This is their longest losing streak of the season, as they now hold a 24-6 record.

Anthony Davis and Kyle Kuzma were the only ones to score in double figures for LA, tallying 32 and 16 points, respectively.
