The Los Angeles Lakers absolutely decimated the Houston Rockets in Game 5 to advance to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2010. The Lakers were on fire from beyond the arc on Saturday, setting a franchise record 19 3-pointers made in their 119-96 drubbing of the Rockets. The record-setting triple came off of incredible ball movement from the Lakers that led to a Kyle Kuzma corner three midway through the fourth period.

Overall, Los Angeles made 51.4 percent from long range in Game 5 to send Houston to their second conference semi-finals exit in as many years. Kuzma finished with 17 points off the bench on an efficient 5-of-8 shooting, including three 3-pointers.
Marcus Morris went a perfect 4-of-4 from three in 24 starting minutes for the Purple and Gold. Danny Green also drained four 3-pointers, while LeBron James knocked down three of his own en route to a team-high 29 points.
The Lakers await the winner of the L.A. Clippers – Denver Nuggets series, where the Clips are up 3-2.
