When Lance Stephenson recently signed with the new-look Los Angeles Lakers this summer, his popularity was almost instantaneously propelled back to the limelight. This is the very reason why, especially in a rather idle offseason, almost everything he does becomes newsworthy.

The 27-year-old recently posted a video of his one-year-old daughter on his Instagram account. To be fair, the clip of little Leya doing her rendition of the highly-popular Kiki challenge is quite adorable. It appears that Leya has inherited the dance moves of his father, Lance.

After a forgettable 2016-17 season in which he was only able to play a total of 18 games with three different teams, Stephenson was able to somewhat revive his career last year. He signed a year-long deal with the Indiana Pacers ā€” the club in which the 6-foot-6 guard/forward first made a name for himself ā€” and was able to take part in all 82 regular season contests.

The Brooklyn, New York native averaged 9.2 points, 0.8 three-pointers, 5.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 0.6 steals in 22.6 minutes off the Indiana bench last term.

After agreeing to a $4.4 million with the Lakers this summer, Stephenson was one of the first names to be brought on board after L.A.'s acquisition of LeBron James.

The Lakers have a packed roster, and Stephenson's role in the team is yet to be known. However, with all the firepower ahead of him in the pecking order, it would not be surprising to if the former 40th overall pick is given limited minutes off the bench.

Nevertheless, Stephenson's burst of energy, along with his veteran presence, are likely the biggest contributions he can bring to the table.
