“Showtime” is alive and kicking in LA, as Danny Green and LeBron James hooked up with an amazing play reminiscent of the legendary Los Angeles Lakers’ team of the ‘80s.

With less than two-minutes off the clock in the in Lakers’ hosting of the Atlanta Hawks at Staples Center on Monday, the home team got off on the break after a defensive stop by center JaVale McGee.

James caught the ball and quickly raced down the court as he passed the rock to a streaking Green. With only one Hawks defender in sight, the Laker pair connected on a beautiful two-man game, as Green tossed a perfect lob pass to James for a two-handed jam.

A helpless Trae Young could only watch as moved out of the way from a possible James poster.

The Lakers (10-2) are looking to strengthen their hold of the number spot in the Western Conference, while the Hawks are looking to bounce back after back-to-back blowout defeats to the Suns and Clippers.
