The Los Angeles Lakers are enjoying a sizable lead over the Dallas Mavericks, and it doesn't look like the Mavs will be able to pull off a comeback anytime soon. However, the blow-out score doesn't mean that there are no barbs flying as LeBron James and Rick Carlisle got into a war of words during a timeout.

NBA on ESPN managed to capture the moment, and it was fascinating for everyone to see. Both men were arguing over something, and neither wanted to back down. James kept on talking smack as he was trying to get a point across.

James was pulled out from the game with 3:53 left in the clock of the 129-114 victory, but James has already done his damage. He finished with 35 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists, and a block to his name. He is the sole reason why the Lakers enjoyed such a lopsided result against the Mavs in spite of Anthony Davis' absence.

Expect the next game between the two teams (assuming they meet in the playoffs) to be just as spicy if this interaction is any indication of what lies ahead.
