Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James had no choice but to high-five himself after he was left hanging by Dwight Howard.

Peep the clip below by Sports Notes. It wasn't shown in the clip but some of the Lakers' staff offered the high-fives to James.

The moment occurred before James fully checked out of the game. The Lakers had all the momentum at that point coupled with the big lead over the Hawks. James finished with 33 points, seven rebounds, and 12 assists in 33 minutes of play. He had 0 turnovers and had a +/- of plus 30. He also shot 13-of-21 from the field and 6-of-10 from the beyond the arc.

He put up this excellent performance in front of Laker legend Kobe Bryant who was in attendance at Staples. The two even shared a brief moment together during a dead-ball situation. It turned the heads of several Lakers fanatics in the arena as well as those watching all over the world.

More than his individual efforts and encounter with Bryant, James has the Lakers to a four-game winning streak. They currently sport an 11-2 record for first place in the Western Conference. It's still very early in the season but it's safe to say that the Lakers are back in the hunt for the title. And James has been the key piece in this campaign. Hopeully, though, James will never be left hanging for his high-fives ever again.
