The Los Angeles Lakers took on the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night, and LeBron James produced yet another sparkling highlight in his storied career. This one was a striking slam against his former teammate Josh Hart:

While the dunk was a bruiser, the entire highlight showcases just how dangerous this Lakers team can be. L.A. forces a turnover with Danny Green poking the ball, then Alex Caruso picks it up and immediately accelerates into a fast break.

Though the dunk was obviously the punctuation mark, Caruso’s between-the-legs pass might’ve even been a more impressive highlight, especially in traffic.

The Lakers are leading the Western Conference with a 43-12 record and are looking to pad that lead with a win over the upstart Pelicans and cement their status as NBA Finals favorites. If King James can continue to produce staggering plays like this at age 35, that status is well-earned.
