Although LeBron James is in danger of missing out on making the playoffs for the first time since 2005, he still hasn't shown signs of slowing down in the waning moments of his first season as a Los Angeles Laker.

The Lakers traveled to Chicago on Tuesday and handily defeated the Bulls, 123-107. James scored a game-high 36 points on 15-of-23 shooting and hauled in 10 rebounds in the win. He also delivered a highlight-worthy play in the fourth quarter to thoroughly dampen Chicago's bid at a comeback.

Here's the clip of LeBron's fantastic end-to-end effort that resulted into a thunderous reverse jam:

The Bulls were simply unequipped to stop this pivotal moment from happening. An oblivious Otto Porter had his pass in the Bulls paint swiped clean by James, who then threw an outlet pass to teammate Josh Hart.

The second-year guard had great awareness to see James still streaking at top speed towards Los Angeles' side of the court, prompting Hart to bounce the ball off the backboard for LBJ to deliver a picture-perfect reverse alley-oop dunk.

It's surprising how Lakers highlights like these have come few and far in between this season, especially considering that they have the best basketball player alive on their roster.

Poor coaching and subpar efforts from James' teammates have been the root causes of Los Angeles' struggles. However, if this play is any indication, there's really something worth building on for the next season once the entire team starts to click with James' leadership and basketball acumen is taken to heart by everyone involved in the Lakers organization.
