Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was having a bit of fun recently with a couple of his good buddies, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony. Unfortunately for Oklahoma City thunder guard Paul, he ended up being the butt of LeBron's workout-related gag.

Those were some pretty small dumbbells Paul had set up in front of him, and it did seem that the rest of the room had a pretty good laugh about the mini prank. Even CP3 himself looked to have been amused by the joke, despite the fact that it was aimed right at him.

It's great to see this trio in a jovial mood following what has been a pretty offsetting summer for two out of the three musketeers. Anthony, a 10-time All-Star and a former scoring champion, continues to be a free agent, with no teams currently willing to sign the 35-year-old veteran.

Paul himself is not in the best of spots following a trade to the Oklahoma City Thunder this offseason. At 34 and with championship aspirations of his own, the 6-foot point guard finds himself in a rather problematic situation with a rebuilding Thunder side looking to focus on youth development.

The opposite has actually been the case for LeBron, as he enters the new season with a much more formidable side compared to his failed first year with the L.A. With Anthony Davis now by his side, James has a legitimate shot at winning the fourth NBA title of his career — something the Lakers faithful have been dreaming about for years now.
