While Los Angeles Lakers forward Markieff Morris was at the free-throw line, his teammate LeBron James had his back turned and casually talking to the Los Angeles Clippers bench. What James was saying and to who remains a mystery. But the clip shows that it looked like they were having some fun.

From the looks of it, James was talking with Kawhi Leonard. Then, he seemed to turn his head to former coach Tyronn Lue. It would be interesting to find out what they told one another. But James was smiling throughout which probably means that nothing serious was discussed.

It's not certain whether James has a good relationship with Leonard. But as for Lue, the two worked together in Cleveland where the head coach guided the team to a 3-1 comeback against the Golden State Warriors in 2016. So Lue and James definitely have something special together.

The Clippers spoiled the Lakers' ring night, snagging a 116-109 victory in their first duel this season.

Leonard himself had 26 points while Paul George led all scorers with 33 points. New addition Serge Ibaka chipped in 15 while Ivica Zubac and Lou Williams had 11 points apiece.

James was the only player to breach the 20-point mark with 22 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists. Anthony Davis had a relatively quiet night with 18 points and seven rebounds. In his first regular-season game as a Laker, Dennis Schroder had 14 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists.

LeBron James and the Lakers have a chance to redeem themselves on Friday against the Dallas Mavericks.
