LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers, who turned 34-years-old a little over a month ago, just slammed over Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers.

Apart from his advancing age and thousands of basketball mileage under his feet, what made James' slam impressive is that he's coming off of a groin injury.

But in the clip below, it was as if James was some 20-year-old kid with serious hops and brute strength.

It seemed that everyone was caught off guard by the James slam.

When he came down the floor, it looked like a he was about to run a play for his teammate off the pick and roll. But James casually walked down the paint, lifted off, and jammed it — all while Turner was right beside him.

The defense might have fallen asleep and James quickly realized this and took advantage.

Myles alone, despite his stature and abilities, is not capable of defending James when he's going downhill. A defender or two should've at least rotated to clog the lane.

But what's done is done.

Turner is now immortalized as part of a James poster.
