Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is usually regarded as a nice guy. He recently built a school in Akron, consistently donates to charities, and is a great father to his three children. Turns out his kindness extends to fans that sit courtside as well.

With 4:32 left in the first quarter of the Lakers' matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies, LeBron James was waiting to inbound the ball. As he shuffled his feet, he seemed to notice the fan sitting right beside him had something on his shoes.

Without missing a beat, the four-time NBA Most Valuable Player bent over and gave the shoe a quick swipe with his hand, then wiped his hand off on his jersey as he and the lucky fan shared a laugh.

Perhaps the nice move gave LeBron James and the Lakers some good karma, as the team jumped out to a commanding 63-40 lead by the end of the first half. James led the Lakers in scoring with 13 points on six of eleven shooting and put everyone on triple-double watch by also grabbing five rebounds and dishing six assists.

The Lakers have certainly had their ups and downs this season, from losing three straight games to start the campaign to rebounding well and jumping to a 15-10 record.

LeBron James has impressed in his first season with the team and has already provided some memorable moments and huge shots down the stretch. It's nice to see that a guy who is one of the wealthiest in the world can stay humble and still have fun while doing what he loves.
