The Miami Heat were in Tinseltown Friday night, not to audition for any movie role in Hollywood, but to end a two-game skid. The Heat did just that, beating the Los Angeles Lakers by the skin of their teeth, 92-91. While it was another loss for the Lakers, it was still an entertaining matchup that was closely contested for most of the contest. If it’s any consolation for Lakers’ fans, here’s a video of Lonzo Ball swatting Heat forward Justise Winslow’s shot into the stands.

A lefty, Winslow needs to use his offhand the next time he comes charging to the basket from the right side. Otherwise, he is likely going to get his shot rejected just like what Lonzo Ball did. Winslow had a rough night altogether, as he was not able to get it going, scoring only two points on a salty 1-of-8 shooting from the floor. Goran Dragic did most of the heavy lifting for Miami, scoring 30 points on 10-of-18 shooting.

As for the Lakers, they are now on a two-game losing streak having lost last Wednesday to the Golden State Warriors in Oakland, 117-106.

Lonzo Ball nearly stitched together a triple-double stat line with nine points, eight rebounds, and eight assists to go with a block and two steals against Miami, but also saw his shooting woes continue, as he made just four of his 15 shots. Over the last five games, the former UCLA guard has shot just 28.1 percent. His inconsistency is becoming a top concern for the Lakers, but he should get a pass from the team considering that this is just his first year in the NBA.
