Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis is already working to improve his jumper.

AD's shooting coach, Lethal Shooter, posted a video on Instagram showing Davis practicing a different looking shot than what NBA fans are used to.

Davis' form looks more technical than before, with picture-perfect form. It is a slight tweak from his already good looking stroke.

Lakers fans will no doubt be encouraged by Davis' work in the gym. The better he gets at knocking down perimeter shots, the easier it will be for LeBron James and his teammates to get to the rim.

Davis is not a terrible 3-point shooter as it is. Last season, he shot 33 percent from long range on about  2.5 attempts per game. For his career, Davis is a 31 percent shooter from beyond the arc.

Obviously, the 3-point shot is not Davis' biggest concern on the offensive end. But the new stroke could help improve his face-up jumper in the post and make his first-step that much more formidable.

It's good to see a player with so much talent still strive to get even better. If Davis continues to work at this rate, he will certainly be a top-three player in the league. Paired with James, the Lakers have one of the most talented duos in the entire NBA.
