During his free throw shots in the first quarter of Tuesday night's game against the Lakers, Pacers fans let Brandon Ingram have it.

Ingram has been the subject of many trade rumors as the Lakers look to shake it up prior to Thursday's NBA Trade Deadline.

The small forward had been included in one blockbuster offer for Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis, according to Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times:

The Lakers had agreed to send their entire young core of Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and Ivica Zubac to the Pelicans, as well as veteran guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, those with knowledge of the situation said.

The Lakers also were willing to send two first-round draft picks, they said. Los Angeles also offered to give the Pelicans the salary-cap relief they wanted by acquiring Solomon Hill, who has another year left on his deal after this season for $12.7 million.

The Lakers entered Tuesday as the tenth seed in the Western Conference, a game and a half back of a playoff spot. ESPN's BPI Playoff Odds give Los Angeles only a 16.2% chance of making the playoffs.

Much of the Lakers' struggles came after the loss of LeBron James due to his Christmas Day groin injury. During the star's 17-game absence, the team went only 6-11.

But now that James is back, the Lakers are back to full strength and looking to contend. President of basketball operations Magic Johnson is clearly willing to get creative to make that happening. The 21-year-old Ingram is one of many valuable chips Johnson can use to upgrade his team.

This season, Ingram is averaging 17.2 points, 4.9 rebound and 3.0 assists.
