During Tuesday night's game, Indiana Pacers fans had some choice words for Los Angeles Lakers small forward Brandon Ingram when he stepped to the free-throw line in the first quarter.

But they had a different chant ready for JaVale McGee when he toed the line later in the game.

Ingram has been at the center of trade rumors lately as the Lakers look to acquire Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis. As Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times reported today:

The Lakers agreed to send their entire young core of Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and Ivica Zubac to the Pelicans, as well as veteran guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, the two people said.

However, all has been quiet for McGee. The seven-foot center could see less playing time if a trade for Davis were finalized.

According to a report from ESPN, McGee and fellow veteran Michael Beasley butted heads with Lakers coach Luke Walton last week.

Walton called out the veterans' selfish style of play and poor decision-making, while the two players “countered Walton's criticism by expressing frustration with Walton's inconsistent rotations this season.”

Despite the Pacers fans' chant, McGee is in the midst of a strong season for the Lakers. Entering Tuesday's game, he was averaging 10.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists. The 31-year-old is signed to a one-year contract and will be a free agent after the season.

The Pacers would go on to beat the Lakers 136-94. This put the Lakers back to .500 and two games back of a playoff position.

Indiana is tied for third in the Eastern Conference with the Boston Celtics.
