Lakers' point-guard Rajon Rondo hit a high arcing shot off the top of the basket Sunday night, despite being chased down by both Jimmy Butler and Kelly Olynyk of the Miami Heat.

Rajon Rondo has had something of an offensive renaissance thus far in the playoffs, hitting over 44 percent of his 3-pointers to go along with 7.0 assists per game. Initially missing the start of Los Angeles' postseason run, Rondo's presence in the lineup has alleviated the concerns many had over the Lakers lack of perimeter depth. Forced to rely on the ball handling of LeBron James during Rondo's absence, the former-Celtic has since shared playmaking duties with James, allowing LeBron to operate off-ball in the hope of sparing him additional responsibilities.

While he has largely operated with a pass-first mentality, using passing lanes to feed cutting teammates, Rondo still possesses the ability to attack off the dribble, as evidenced by his circus shot. Should he continue to attack, it will be one more reason that the Lakers are so heavily favored.
