LaVar Ball captured the attention of the nation by making outrageous statements about himself and his children, which turned some off but intrigued others.

Once he garnered enough attention, he introduced his Big Baller Brand to the world, where the family-owned business features independent signature shoes for two of his three sons and a ton of other merchandise — which also brought about pop up shops, inclusion into this year's NBA2K18, and seemingly increasing popularity, notwithstanding the shoes sell for a ridiculous $495.

Lonzo Ball has managed to wear his own signature shoe, the ZO2 this season right just as his fellow athletes are wearing their sponsored Nike, Adidas and the rest of the athletic brands, and to a point, he feels successful enough at this point.

Since Ball's controversial statements, he always seems to have an over the top optimism when it comes to his endeavors or his son's place in the NBA. Ball is loud and full of irrational confidence even if it seems he is right sometimes, and even when it causes his son to feel the full force of his competition on a given night.

Not everyone hates Ball though — some find him funny, some intriguing, and some have taken a liking to his personality after getting used to his style. He's been praised by NBA coaches as a father and appreciated by players who wish they had a dad around growing up that believed in them as he does his son.

No matter the good or the bad, there is always humor to find with Ball and SNL performed a skit mocking Ball and his son LiAngelo's signature shoes. Keenan Thompson performed his take on the boisterous father's personality and unleashed it to fans for a hilarious and entertaining segment.
