The stars are back in LaLa Land, especially now that the Los Angeles Lakers are looking like world beaters once again.

Among those in attendance to see the retooled Lakers team at Staples was hiphop star Snoop Dogg, who even provided some commentary on the side as the team hosted the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.

The American rapper dropped by the broadcast booth and did not hide his excitement by dishing out some hilarious play-by-play.

Snoop uttered phrases like “Team work makes the dream work” and “It takes two to make a thing go right”, as he shared the mic with the Lakers’ in-house broadcaster Stu Lantz.

He later admitted that he’s getting overly excited and should return to his courtside seat.

A California native and staunch supporter of the Purple and Gold, Snoop Dogg has been vocal about the Lakers’ struggles in past seasons.

With the Lakers back in the upper echelon of the Western Conference, expect to see even more celebrities to grace the sidelines this year.
