Former NBA star Lamar Odom has been named in a lawsuit for failing to pay court ordered child support since June of last year.

Liza Morales, mother to two of Lamar Odom's children, filed a lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court stating Odom has not made mandated payments in close to a year:

“In June 2020, Lamar stopped providing any support save for sporadic amounts sent directly to LJ, placing their son in a very difficult situation,” Morales alleged in a civil complaint, via Gabrielle Fonrouge of Page Six.

Odom is apparently required to make monthly payments at a rate of $6,000 on top of college fees and premium payments to cover a $9 million life insurance plan.

However, Odom's alleged failure to make said payments has resulted in Morales and the two kids (both of whom live with her) facing eviction. Morales also alleges LJ had to attend a community college instead of a four-year college because the family did not have adequate funds.

Court records appear to suggest Morales owed $50,000 in back rent back in February of 2020, per Page Six. She says that figure has risen to $78,000.

Meanwhile, Odom has incessantly promoted his exhibition fight with former pop star Aaron Carter on Twitter. He has also made more recent public appearances to discuss his past, including an episode on Showtime's All The Smoke podcast with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson and as well as an interview with VladTV.

Odom has yet to issue a response to the lawsuit, with Page Six reporting Morales's landlord and Lamar Odom's reps “couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.”
