Lamar Odom put together a highly productive NBA career that spanned over 14 seasons in the league.

According to Marc J. Spears of ESPN, the 37-year-old is set to become inducted into the New York City Basketball Hall of Fame.

Prior to his professional career, Lamar Odom made a name for himself during high school days in New York as a star basketball player. He spent his first three years of school at Christ The King Regional High School. Following that, he transferred to St. Thomas Aquinas High School where he earned the Parade Player of the Year in his senior year along with an All-American First Team selection for a second straight year by Parade Magazine and a USA TODAY All-USA First Team nod.

It is a well-deserved honor given the type of career that Odom was able to put together where he won a pair of NBA titles and an NBA Sixth Man of the Year while holding career averages of 13.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game while playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, and Dallas Mavericks.

Odom is expected to be joined by Ron Behagen, Jackie Jackson, Larry Lembo, Kevin Stacom, Anne Gregory O’Connell and coach Steve Lappas.
