The BIG3 in its initial season has been quite a success with the intense level of competition between the former NBA players that has created a buzz about the future of the league.
There have been a few notable players that have voiced their interest in being a part of the BIG3. The latest is former Sixth Man of the Year Lamar Odom, who stated in an interview with Michael Rapaport that he wants to play next season.

He already has the support of league creator Ice Cube who stated that he would love to see the former Los Angeles Lakers star be a part of the mix next year. His addition would bring some more much-needed star power to the mix that could open the door for bigger names to come.
It has been a sometimes difficult road back to recovery for Odom from his near-death experience a few years back. This would be a huge step forward for the 37-year-old to participate in something that could be a major positive in his life.
In fact, this may bring him something stable that he could look forward to help further out straighten out his life. Ultimately, it would be a pleasant sight to see Odom back on the court.
