After snapping out of their four-game losing streak against their cross-town rivals L.A. Clippers on Christmas day, the Los Angeles Lakers thought it was going to be fresh start for them and are hoping to string a few more wins together.

However, the Lakers already suffered a huge blow even before their next game has started with their team's announcement that second-year forward Larry Nance, Jr. will miss about the next four weeks due to a bone bruise in his left knee.

The 23-year-old Wyoming product suffered the injury on December 20 during the Lakers' loss to the Charlotte Hornets. If there's any silver lining to his injury, the team can now breathe a sigh of relief as the results revealed no structural damage, according to doctors.

Nance has been an integral part of the team's rotation this season and is averaging 7.0 points, 5.5 rebound and 1.3 assists in 22.4 minutes per game.

Thomas Robinson will see an uptick in his minutes during Nance's recovery with Luol Deng and Brandon Ingram expected to spend some time at the power forward spot as well.
