Sadly, the final two episodes of “The Last Dance” aired this Sunday and the epic ESPN docu-series officially came to an end. The final episode reached its pinnacle when Michael Jordan and his Chicago Bulls won the 1998 NBA championship — their sixth in eight years — finally putting to bed all the disputes and controversies that surrounded what was a tumultuous campaign.

In true MJ form, Jordan had some parting words for his rivals after the Bulls finally got their hands on title No. 6:

At this point, Michael Jordan was likely airing all his frustration and disappointment rooting from the season. As revealed in “The Last Dance,” there was a lot of outside noise surrounding the Bulls throughout the year, with the media making a circus out of the team's situation.

There's no denying that doubt began to creep up with regards to the Bulls' ability to go all the way that season despite the many distractions they had going on.

We all know how that turned out though, and Jordan made sure to send a parting shot to all the doubters. This also included all the other teams in the league that were likewise hoping to dethrone Jordan and the Bulls.

True enough, Jordan ended up quitting after that season, going on his second retirement from basketball. Scottie Pippen also made his way to the Portland Trail Blazers, while both Dennis Rodman and head coach Phil Jackson joined the Los Angeles Lakers. That officially put an end to the Bulls' dynasty, but boy did they end on the high of highs.
