With UCLA’s NCAA season officially over, Lonzo Ball now has a ton of free time and has decided to join his father, LaVar, in his quest of proclaiming the Ball brothers’ greatness throughout the world. After recently declaring that he sees himself as a better player than fellow top draft prospect Markelle Fultz, Lonzo is now talking about how many NBA titles he expects to win throughout his career.

Appearing in Chris Boussard’s In The Zone Podcast, both father and son were asked a series of questions such as the prospect of the Los Angeles Lakers drafting Lonzo and the family’s Big Baller Brand. One of the most contentious questions they faced was about their prediction on not if, but how many NBA championships Lonzo would end up bagging once it is all said and done for him at the pros.

Although the father-and-son duo was in agreement that the 6-foot-6 point guard would have an incredibly decorated professional career, they were not on the same page when it came to the exact number of titles.

The younger Ball boldly predicted five NBA championships for himself putting him in the same company with the likes of Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, and Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson.

LaVar went a bit further and shared his vision of his son winning “more than six” titles. If the reference he was trying to make wasn’t obvious enough, the 48-year-old made it abundantly clear that he was pertaining to the great Michael Jordan’s record.
