Much like the rest of America, stars from around the NBA were also tuned in to the NFL season opener on Thursday night. Tom Brady came out with a tremendous performance to lead Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a huge opening night win over an equally impressive Dac Prescott and his Dallas Cowboys.

LeBron James was one of the first to react to Brady's heroics as the reigning Super Bowl MVP threw a highly impressive 379 yards for four touchdowns:

It was a tough battle with Prescott also holding his own against Brady. The Cowboys star quarterback was playing in his first game back following last year's season-ending injury, and he quickly made up for lost time. Prescott finished with 403 yards and three touchdowns in what was an excellent debut.

In the end, however, it was the Bucs that emerged with a hard-fought victory, 31-29. It was the Tom Brady show throughout, which prompted quite an emphatic reaction from Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant:

Morant needed just two words, but it's clear that in his eyes, Tom Brady to be the very best — ever.

The Detroit Pistons' first overall pick, Cade Cunningham, was also an avid spectator of the match. He wasn't too happy about the end result, though, but he did have an encouraging takeaway from the epic battle:

If this was a preview of what's in store for the coming season then we should all fasten our seatbelts. It should be quite a ride.
