More often than not, NBA card collectors end up with a set that doesn't really have much value at all when opening a pack or box. This case becomes more frustrating or sad when an expensive card product is the one being ripped. That’s why the chances of pulling a dud are really greater than finding that elusive One of One card everyone wants to get.

But every once in a while, there comes a pack that’s guaranteed to drive any NBA card collector insane in the best way possible. Proof of this specific pack exists in a video shared by Cognizant Card Breaks.

The pack in question, a Panini 2020-21 Prizm Luck Envelope, was ripped to reveal, not one, but two massive cards inside. The first is a Prizm Checkerboard LeBron James 1/4, which solicited a loud reaction from the breaker’s end when the pack was opened. And if that wasn’t big enough, the following NBA card is one that every collector would die to have – a Prizm Checkerboard rookie card of LaMelo Ball, which numbered four out of eight copies.

While there are no price comps yet for these two cards, the LeBron James card pulled from that pack is currently being sold for $3,700. The LaMelo Ball card, meanwhile, is being auctioned off and the current bid is at $4,050. These prices may seem a lot now, but they can still go higher, especially if the cards grade well down the road.

Pulling these cards from a single pack has always been the dream for any collector. This video just proved that aside from possibly being the best NBA card pack ever, dreams can come true in this hobby.
