Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was one of many people heaping praise on Canadian rapper Drake's most recent EP, “Scary Hours 2.”

The mini-album contains three songs and two features with Lil Baby and Rick Ross.

James and Drake have been friends for some time now. In 2009, Drake and rappers Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Eminem came up with the song “Forever,” which was a part of the “More than a Game” documentary about LeBron.

Drake is an avid sports fan and has been visible rooting for many teams, including those led by James, though he was most visible during the 2018-2019 Toronto Raptors' run to the championship as the's team global ambassador. His antics involved giving a shoulder rub to Raptors head coach Nick Nurse and wearing a Dell Curry Raptors jersey. Dell is the father of Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, who was playing against Toronto in the Finals.

LeBron James was enjoying this new Drake after once again making selections as a captain for the All-Star Game. LeGM is one of the names he has been brandished with during his career for his propensity to building superteams, and he certainly put his GM hat on as he made good choices in assembling his All-Star squad. It was interesting that James, who is known for his playmaking and versatility, picked several players who fit that mold. Meanwhile, the other captain, Kevin Durant, who is one of the best scorers of all time, had a team composed of, well, mostly scorers.

Both guys can share their love of Drake, though, and they'll surely be jamming to these new tracks for a while.
