Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo couldn't help himself but jump into the LeBron James sweepstakes, despite being far from the United States, back in his native Greece for the offseason.

Reddit user Excision translated the interview from a local newspaper, as The Greek Freak was prompted with the fact that no one is considering Milwaukee as a potential destination for The King this offseason.

“Of course, LeBron should come to Milwaukee,” said Antetokounmpo. “Why not? He has made eight finals in a row, If he comes to us it will be a nine for sure.”

Antetokounmpo is not short of confidence, even though the Milwaukee Bucks would struggle to add a free agent of James' caliber (and pay) without tearing down part of their roster to make it happen.

A team with two MVP candidates in it would be certainly one capable of competing with the Golden State Warriors and potentially challenge their reign of terror, but the reason Milwaukee isn't a destination is due to the sheer amount of changes that would need to take place for this to work.

Besides both players playing the small forward position, the Bucks would be forced to move assets and give up hopes of re-signing the likes of Khris Middleton, who is due for an extension as their best perimeter option and secondary scorer.
