Whether it's the regular season, the NBA Playoffs, or the NBA All-Star Game, LeBron James continues his assault on an array of all-time records.

In earning his fourth assist in Sunday's exhibition match, LeBron passed Detroit Piston great Isiah Thomas for third place in the assists leaderboard in the All-Star Game, according to ESPN Statistics & Information. As of halftime, LBJ has 97 assists in the midseason affair, leaving him behind only Magic Johnson and Chris Paul.

Beyond the assists record, LeBron is also first all-time in points scored, third in most appearances behind Kobe Bryant and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and is tied for second with Kobe and Bob Pettit for most All-Star MVP trophies. While The King will need two more appearances in the NBA All-Star Game to tie Abdul-Jabbar with 19 apiece, LeBron could catch up to Kobe and Bob Pettit with his fourth MVP plum if he wins it on Sunday.

Entering the game, LeBron was the odds-on favorite to win the MVP award ahead of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid, according to the odds provided by Draft Kings Nation. LBJ was also the leading vote-getter among NBA players this season, which afforded him the right, along with Kevin Durant, to choose his teammates for the contest.

Whether or not he retires atop each of the aforementioned all-time lists—and quite frankly, it looks like he will—it will be difficult to argue that the Los Angeles Lakers main man isn't the most decorated All-Star participant in NBA history. While past players have taken delight in dominating the game, no one has done it quite as well as LeBron James.
