LeBron James teaming up with Barack Obama ahead of Donald Trump vs. Joe Biden election
Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is bringing in the big guns for the latest episode of “The Shop” on HBO. With the Donald Trump vs. Joe Biden national election coming up, LeBron and co-host Maverick Carter will be guesting none other than former United States President Barrack Obama on their highly-popular talk show.

The former president himself confirmed the report on his own Twitter account:

LeBron emerged as one of the most vocal personalities in the league throughout the season restart, with the newly-crowned four-time NBA champ constantly speaking out against systemic racism. As campaigned by the Lakers superstar, one of the most proactive ways of fighting racial injustice is by electing the right people to office. The only way to do this is if citizens — especially those who have been affected by said injustices — go out and vote. This time around, he has Mr. Obama backing him up.
Now as for his basketball, an interesting new development has emerged pertaining to the possibility of LeBron James sitting out the first month of the season if it indeed starts in mid-December. The league has been working diligently to push this initiative through, but as it turns out, their poster boy does not appear to be too supportive of the significantly shortened offseason. Nothing has been confirmed on both fronts thus far, however, so it remains to be seen if James will be available for the Lakers when they open their title defense.
